Our Mission to Share
Our Vision
Belonging in Books is a heartfelt initiative primarily based in Westchester, New York. We facilitate connections between individuals in the United States and various organizations in India, encouraging English book donations and travel to deliver these invaluable resources. Our goal is to foster a love for reading while enhancing access to knowledge and education for communities in need.
Step 1: Book Collection
Join us in our mission to spread knowledge. We collect books and ensure they reach those in need. Every book donated is a step towards a brighter future.
Step 3: Book Distribution
Building the foundation for a literate society. In addition to distributing the collected books to organizations dedicated to improving literacy in India, we work to open libraries in underserved communities as well.
Step 2: Traveler Partnership
Empower travelers to be the bearers of change. By partnering with us, they carry books to India, becoming the messengers of education and hope. Together, we create a ripple effect of learning.
Step 4: Activity Development
Forming thinkers beyond readers. We develop creative activities and exercises for the recipients of these donated books, enabling them to engage with novels beyond simply reading them.
